Click here to view her video and bio – http://www.georgiawomen.org/2010/10/black-nellie-peters/ The Atlanta Woman’s Club is a hundred and seven years old woman’s club located in the heart of Midtown Atlanta, Georgia. Built in 1895 as Atlanta’s first woman’s club, it has been well cared for through the years and is a national, state and city historical landmark. The Club resides in the Wimbish Mansion, one of the last remnants of the “Old South” on Peachtree Street and has served as a stage for several major motion movie pictures. The Club was also recently featured on GPTV’s, “Peachtree Street – Take Another Look“. Atlanta Woman’s Club Member, Donna Foland is interviewed about the Club’s service and support to Hope-Hill Elementary. See video below.
